MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream has been affected by his global reach. In 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In 2017, he dropped ADN which was his debut long-player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album peaked at the rank of eighteen in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca is the Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. Mala Influencia is his collaboration with Noriel in 2020. The following calendar year Dopamina came out as his sophomore album. He also appeared as a duo TINI for her viral online single Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was born into a musical family, his younger brother and his mother are also musicians. In interviews, Turizo said that music is an essential part of his life. As a child, he was taught to perform on the guitar, piano and ukulele. His initial choice of career was to become a vet However, his brother Julian encouraged him to learn how to sing under a Cuban teacher. It was the result that he discovered his own talents for singing, and the result changed the course his life.
